Iran is the only country that has both a Caspian Sea and Indian Ocean coastline.Iran has been of geostrategic importance because of its central location in Eurasia and Western Asia and the Strait of Hormuz.
The plateau of Iran consists of high Mountain ranges like Zagros in the west and Alborz in north. The highest point in Iran is Mountain Damavand, with 5610 m above the sea level, where lots of Iranian My thological and Legends according to Ferdowsi, the great poet of the country, took place.
Deserts of Iran cover an area of 34000 km2 with diverse culture of hard working people and unique architecture.sUnlike what most of foreigners think about Iran , there are lots of Jungles and greenery, like Old Hirkani Jungles in the northern part of the country and Incredible disappearing Hera Jungles in the Persian Gulf in the south of Iran.
The civilization on the Iranian plateau is very ancient; copper was smelted there about 5500 BC. Iranian people gave rise to Median, as the Persian people gave rise to Achaemenid, Parthians, Sassanid dynasties during the classical antiquity and then after the advent of Islam in Iran , the Seljuk, Safavid, Zand dynasties played significant roles in Iran .
Iranian Art including architecture, weaving, painting, pottery, calligraphy, metalworking and stonemasonry is one of the richest art heritages in the world. Although Iran is being introduced as an Islamic Country, many other religions and ideologies has been introduced like Christianity, or developed like Zoroastrianism, and Mithraism.
The Iranian Jewish community is proud of sites like Esther and Murdkai in Hamadan or the Tomb of Biblical prophet Daniel in the ancient city of Susa in Khuzestan Province. Iran hosts Asia's fourth-largest number of UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Beside all these beauties, rich hospitality exists among Iranians since ancient times as the country is located and has been in the middle of the route connecting Orient and the western world known as Silk Road.
Iranian hospitality is world-famous; Travelers to Iran are often touched by the sincerity, politeness and generosity of spirit of their Iranian hosts. Accepting tea and food is considered polite if offered, as is acting graciously and modestly while visiting someone's home.
Nowadays we're used to thinking of Travel as the 'fun' bit of life, but enjoyment isn't a reason why it shouldn't also do some very serious things for us.
Motives to travel include pleasure, relaxation, discovery and exploration , getting to know other cultures and taking personal time for building interpersonal relationship.
At its deepest level, Travel can assist us with our psychological education. Travel can – when approached the right way – play a critical role in helping us to grow into better versions of our normal selves. When it corrects the imbalances and immaturities of our natures, travel reveals its full potential to function as a form of therapy in our lives. But in order to work a therapeutic effect, we need to change how we go about choosing our destinations for traveling.  Today, Travel may or may not be much easier depending upon the destination you choose for travel ing, how you plan to get there, and whether or not you decide to "rough it extreme tourism and adventure Travel ) There are many cultural and historical reasons to Travel to Iran and not many real reasons not to go.
The impressions promoted in the western media of a repressed society are in fact not at all borne out in practice. The people are in fact quite free thinking and pragmatic and hospitality is an ingrained part of their society. Exquisite palaces, domed mosques, brilliant bazaars and gracious people all make Iran a true travel gem. But don't believe us… come and experience the splendor of Iran yourself.
If  travel is most rewarding when it surprises, then Iran might just be the most rewarding destination to find.
